Frying batter for fish (C)















Ingredients

Refined flour
225gms
Oil
30ml
Egg whites
2
Water or milk
300ml
Salt
to taste


Sift the flour and salt into a basin. Make a well. Add the liquid and mix in the flour gradually. Beat to smooth mixture. Mix in the oil. Allow to rest. Just before using fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
