Date savoury



Ingredients

Cashewnuts  or peanuts
55gms
Cheese
75gms
Egg yolks
1
Chilli powder
½ tsp
Butter
55gms
Refined flour
200gms
Salt
to taste
Fat for frying



Destone dates. Mince nuts (if peanuts are used roast them first). Fill dates with nuts. Mix together grated cheese, butter, chilli powder, salt and egg yolk. Add flour little at a time add make into a soft dough. Roll and cut into small rounds. Into each rounds put one date and turn over to get a half moon shape. Seal the edges. Bake or fry in deep fat.
