Melt butter in a thick-bottomed pan. Add flour and cook
slowly without discolouring, stirring all the time. Remove the pan from fire
and add hot milk, a little at a time, to prevent lumps from forming. When all
the milk has been added and the batter is smooth, return to the fire and cook
till the sauce is thick. Remove. Add chopped capsicum, salt and beaten yolks of
eggs. Remove corn from the cobs, and add to the sauce. Beat the whites of the
eggs till stiff and fold in. pour into a greased pie dish and bake at 135oC.(300oF)
for about 30 minutes.
