Fat to fry



Soak cleaned rice for one hour. Grind coarsely. Add jaggery and grind to a smooth paste. Thin down to batter consistency with water. Mix in pepper and grated coconut. Heat the fat in a deep frying pan. Pour a ladleful of this batter and deep fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
