Til Aloo Dum (2 portions)

















Ingredients

Quantity
Potatoes (boil, peel and cube)
250gms
Gingelly  seeds (roasted and powered)

Salt
to taste

For tempering:


Oil
50ml
Fenugreek seeds
5gms
Green chillies
10gms
Turmeric
¼ tsp
Asafoetida
1 tsp
Timur (optional)
1 tsp


Mix together cubed potatoes, roasted and powdered gingelly (sesame) seeds and salt. Heat oil, add fenugreek seeds. As they splutter, add green chillies, turmeric and asafoetida. Mix well and pour over potato mixture.
