Ingredients

Cucumber sliced round

Onion sliced rounds

Ridge – ground peeled and sliced round

Ajwain leaves washed clean whole
8 to 10
Potato peeled and sliced round

Gram flour
½ cup
Rice flour
½ cup
Salt
to taste   
Turmeric powder
½ tsp
Cumin seeds
½ tsp
Oil
 for deep fry  


Do not slice the vegetables too thick or too thin.

Mix flours, salt, cumin seeds, turmeric to make a batter for dipping.

Heat the oil to deep fry. When hot, add a tablespoon to the batter and mix.

Dip the vegetables, slice by slice and slide into the hot oil. Fry on medium heat till golden brown.

Serve hot with sauce or chutney as desired.
