Clean and boil gram until soft. Mash well. Add slit green
chillies, turmeric, salt and chopped tomatoes. Great and grind coconut to a
fine paste. When tomatoes are cooked add ground coconut. Heat fat in a pan. Add
mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Pour over dal. Garnish with chopped coriander
leaves and serve hot.
