Pick and wash gram or lentil. Slice onions and slit green chillies. Heat the fat. Saute gram, onions, chillies, turmeric. Add enough water to cook. When tender remove from fire and mash. Add more water if required. Add salt and bring to boil. Remove and temper with the given ingredients.
