Ø 500 gms minced meat
Ø 2 large chopped onions
Ø 1” long ginger, grated
Ø ½ tsp red chilli pwd
Ø 2 cups ghee
Ø 2 bay leaves
Ø ½ cup channa dal
Ø 1 tblsp garlic (chopped) & lemon juice
Ø 1”long piece Cinnamon stick
Ø 2 cardamoms
Ø 4 cloves
Ø 6 chopped green chillies
Ø Salt to taste
Barring ghee, mix all the ingredients and cook them on medium flame until all the juice of the meat dries up. It would take about 20 mts for this process to be completed. Now pull off the skin of cardamom and remove the cinnamon stick and bay leaves. Now grind the remaining ingredients till the mixture has a dough like consistency, then shape them into small balls and flatten them into thick cakes. Now fry the cakes in deep hot fat till dark brown in colour Serve the kababs hot with green salad.
