Ø 500 gms cottage cheese
Ø 250 gms besan (gram flour)
Ø 1 tsp chilli powder
Ø 2 tblsp cumin seeds
Ø 1 tsp garam masala
Ø A pinch of asafoetida
Ø ½ tsp turmeric pwd
Ø A bunch of coriander leaves, chopped
Ø 2 tsp pepper pwd
Ø 1 tsp amchoor pwd
Ø Salt to taste
Ø Oil for fry
Cut the cheese into 1 inch × ½ inch squares. Sprinkle on them a little salt and pepper powder and set aside. Now take besan and mix with rest of the spices and water and make a smooth batter. Heat oil and dip the cheese cubes into the batter. Slip in the heated oil and fry till golden brown. Serve hot with any chutney or tomato ketchup.
