Masala Rajma















Ø  300 gms rajma beans
Ø  1 cup fresh curd
Ø  3 medium sized onions chopped
Ø  2 inch long piece of ginger (fresh) chopped
Ø  4 sliced green chillies
Ø  2 tsp coriander pwd
Ø  ½ tsp turmeric pwd
Ø  ¼ tsp chilli pwd
Ø  ½ tsp garam masala
Ø  2 tblsp fresh cream
Ø  3 tblsp oil
Ø  A bunch of minced, fresh coriander leaves
Ø  Salt to taste

Soak rajma overnight in water with a large pinch of soda-bicarb. Boil the beans in the same till tender. Drain the water.

Now heat ghee in a sauce pan or kadhai, and fry onions, ginger, green chillies till they turn golden brown.  Beat the curd and add along with salt and rajma. Cook for a few minutes and then add the strained water. Bring it to a boil and add cream and garam masala. Serve garnished with green coriander leaves.
