Ø 500 gms shredded white cabbage
Ø 4 chopped tomatoes
Ø 1 inch piece of ginger chillies
Ø 4 chopped green chillies
Ø ¼ tsp chilli pwd
Ø ½ tsp turmeric pwd
Ø 1 tsp coriander pwd
Ø 1 tsp mustard seeds
Ø ½ tsp garam masala
Ø Salt to taste
Ø 4 tblsp of ghee or butter oil
Heat ghee and fry mustards seeds till they stop popping. Now put in tomatoes, ginger, green chillies, and cook for five minutes. Add chilli, turmeric, coriander powders and cook for a minute. Add cabbage, salt and half a cup of water. Cover and cook over sim flame for 15 mts. Sprinkle garam masala on top and serve hot liberally garnished with green coriander leaves.
