Ø 1 tblsp oil
Ø 1 tblsp light soya sauce
Ø 750 gms broccoli
Ø 5 cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, sliced
Ø 1 green shallot, chopped
Ø 2 tblsp toasted slivered almonds
Ø 1cup water
Ø 2 tsp dry sherry
Ø 2 tsp sugar
Cut broccoli into flowerets, place in pan with ginger, shallot and water bring to boil, boil until tender; drain. Discard ginger and shallot. Heat oil, soya sauce, sherry and sugar in wok, pour over broccoli. Sprinkle broccoli with almonds.
