Fish Tikka



















Ø  750 gms Fish
Ø  10 gms green chillies
Ø  10 gms ginger
Ø  10 gms garlic
Ø  1 lemon
Ø  500 gms curd
Ø  15 gms red chilli pwd
Ø  5 gms garam masala
Ø  3 gms Turmeric
Ø  Orange, red colour optional
Ø  Salt, pepper to taste
Ø  30 gm onion


Clean and cut the fish into large cubes or tikka size pieces, keep it a side

Sprinkle lime juice and salt , keep a side

Grind together green chillies, ginger, garlic, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala into a paste and keep it aside 

Beat the curd and add the masala paste to the curd. Mix it well and season to taste with salt and pepper

Soak the fish pieces in the curd and masala paste mixture for 1 to 2 hours

Thread the fish pieces on to a thin iron rod and place it inside the tandoor for 5 to 8 minutes

Remove and brush with oil and place it again well inside the tandoor. When it is done remove it and serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges (pieces)
