Fish Tandoori













Ø  1 whole pomfret (big)  
Ø  1 cup cud, thick
Ø  4 tblsp ghee or butter
Ø  1 tsp chilli pwd
Ø  1 tsp cumin seeds, roasted and powdered
Ø  ½ tsp garam masala
Ø  6 cloves garlic
Ø  2 tsp ginger paste
Ø  3 tsp of ghee
Ø  Salt to taste

Clean the fish and make deep cuts all round the fish. Now mix well the beaten curd with chilli, cumin seed powder, garlic, ginger pastes and salt. Soak the fish in the mixture and set it aside in a refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Now take it out and put aside for 10 to 15 mts. Bake the fish in an oven at high temperature for at least five minutes. Then take it out, sprinkle garam masala smeared with ghee and again bake it for 5 mts at medium temperature. Carve it out gently and serve hot with green chillies, onion rings and spicy sauce.
