Fish Korma



















Ø  500 gms fish without bones, sliced
Ø  1 cup fresh curd, beaten
Ø  1 large onion, sliced
Ø  6 cloves garlic, ground to paste
Ø  1 tsp chilli pwd
Ø  5 cloves
Ø  6 big cardamoms
Ø  8 pepper corns
Ø  1 inch long piece of cinnamon
Ø  ½ inch nutmeg, ground
Ø  Ghee for frying
Ø  A bunch of coriander leaves, chopped
Ø  Salt to taste

Rub in ½ tsp salt to the fish. Put it aside for some time and then fry till light brown. Now heat 4 tblsp ghee. Put in pepper corns, cloves, cardamom. Add garlic, onion, ginger, coriander and chilli powders and salt.  Add well the beaten curd. Cook till the gravy becomes thick. Now add cinnamon and nutmeg, stir and slip in fish slices, cover and cook on low flame till the fish is tender. Garnish it with chopped green coriander and serve hot.
