Curry Mutton



















Ø  500 gms mutton
Ø  1 tsp each cumin seeds & poppy seeds
Ø  ½ tsp chilli powder
Ø  1 tsp mustard seeds
Ø  2 onions, finely sliced
Ø  8 cloves chopped garlic
Ø  1 tsp turmeric powder
Ø  ½ tsp garam masala
Ø  A small bunch of coriander leaves
Ø  ½ cups fresh cream
Ø  3 tblsp ghee
Ø  Salt to taste

Grind cumin seeds, poppy seeds, chilli powder, turmeric powder, mustard-seeds and garlic into a fine paste.

Heat ghee and fry onions, green chillies till the mixture becomes golden brown. Now add the above mentioned paste and fry till ghee separates. Now put in mutton, salt and stir while cooking for 10 minutes. Make sure that you don’t burn it. Now add two cups of water and bring water to boiling point. Then cover and continue cooking till meat is done. Now sprinkle am masala and cream. Serve it hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
