Chilli Chicken – Chinese















Ø  20 gm green chilli
Ø  450 gm chicken
Ø  5 gm ginger
Ø  5 gm garlic
Ø  60 gm onions
Ø  60 gm capsicum
Ø  30 gm spring onion
Ø  30 ml chicken stock
Ø  30 ml tomato sauce
Ø  3 gm ajinomoto
Ø  15 ml soya sauce
Ø  30 gm corn flour
Ø  Salt, pepper to taste
Ø  Oil to fry

Clean and de- bone the chicken and cut into small thin pieces

Dip the chicken pieces in a corn flour batter keep it aside for few minutes.

Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry chicken piece into golden brown, remove and keep aside

Chop the ginger and garlic, slice green chilli and cut onions , capsicum into diced , keep it aside

Heat oil and lightly fry chopped ginger, garlic and cut green chillies. Add diced capsicum and onions

Add the chicken stock to the vegetables, season at with salt and pepper, ajinomoto, soya sauce, tomato sauce and boil it for a few minutes

Thicken it with a mixture of corn flour and water when it is  thick add the chicken pieces to the sauce and cook it for few minutes more.

Serve hot garnish with chopped spring onions.
