Ø  225 gms bengal gram
Ø  1 tsp soda bi carbonate
Ø  1 tsp garam masala pwd
Ø  ½ tsp coriander pwd
Ø  1/8 turmeric pwd
Ø  ½ tsp red chilli pwd
Ø  10 gms green chilli
Ø  15 gms tamarind
Ø  100 gms tomatoes
Ø  10 gms coriander leaves
Ø  25 ml oil
Ø  Salt to taste
Ø  110 gms onions

Wash and soak gram overnight with cooking soda, cook again .Add garam masala powder .
Heat oil fry sliced onions, turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder.Add gram, tomatoes and whole green chillies . Add tamarind juice .Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
