Cream Kofta












For Kofta

Ø  250 gms of cheese
Ø  4 tblsp plain flour
Ø  ½ tsp baking pwd
Ø  ¼ tsp chilli pwd
Ø  Ghee for frying and salt to taste


For curry

Ø  4 chopped tomatoes
Ø  1 medium sized chopped onion
Ø  1 piece chopped ginger
Ø  5 chopped cloves garlic
Ø  ½ tsp chilli pwd
Ø  ½ tsp turmeric pwd
Ø  ½ tsp garam masala
Ø  ½ cup fresh curd
Ø  2 tblsp fresh cream
Ø  4 tsp ghee
Ø  Chopped coriander leaves
Ø  Salt to taste

Put all the ingredients meant for koftas and grind them well in a mixer till it takes the form of smooth paste(or dough). From small balls out of the dough, deep fry them on the medium fire. Heat ghee and fry cumin seeds, onions, ginger, garlic and then add turmeric and coriander, chilli powders. Now add tomatoes, beaten curd and garam masala. Cook the whole for 2 minutes. Add koftas and cream . Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
