Ginger Chutney (Alla Pacchadi)




Ingredients

Tamarind

Red chillies

Green chillies

Ginger
2 to 3 pieces
Sugar or jaggery
1 tbsp
Peeled broken black gram dal (uraddal)
1 tsp
Black mustard seeds
1 tsp
Oil
1  ½ tsp
Salt
to taste 
Fenugreek seeds
½ tsp


Soak tamarind in water for 5 minutes.

Fry red chillies, black gram, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. Grind. 3. Add tamarind, green chillies, ginger, and salt/jaggery. Grind again. Add salt to taste.
