Chinese Hot and Sour Onions




Ingredients

Quantity
White onions
2 large
Fresh red hot chillies
3
Oil
2 tbsp
White vinegar
1 ½ tsp
Brown vinegar
1 ½ tsp
Pepper powder
3 to 4 pinches
Sugar
¼ tsp
Salt
to taste  


Peel and halve onions, chop into eight chunks each half.

Slice chillies thin and diagonally.

Heat oil, add chillies and onions, stir fry for 3-4 minutes.

Add all other ingredients, saute further 2 minutes.

Serve hot, with rice or bread.
