Cabbage and Carrot Bahji















Ingredients

Coriander seeds – crushed
1 tbsp
Cumin seeds
½ tsp
Chillies – dried
2 to 3
Cabbage – shredded
4 cups
Carrots  - diced
1 cup
Tomato – chopped
1/3 cup
Turmeric
¼ tsp
Green chilli – chopped

Pam or dry fry coriander, cumin seeds, and whole chilies, Stir for a min over medium heat, or until chilies darken. Add carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, then turmeric, green chilies. Stir to mix thoroughly. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15-20 minutes. Vegies should be a little crunchy, but if you like mooshy, cook'em a little longer.
