Ordinary rice (not basmati)

Butter milk

Mixed gram dal, urad dal & cashew bits

Curry leaves

Red chillies

Ghee or oil

2 tbsp

Chopped coriander

1 tbsp

Cumin & mustard seeds

½ tsp
|
Heat ghee, add dals and cashew and cashew bits. Fry till light
brown. Add cumin & mustard seeds, curry leaves red chillies and buttermilk
in that order. Add salt and rice and cook covered on low heat till done.
Garnish with coriander. Serve piping hot.
