Ingredients

For 6 to 8
Chicken

Turmeric

Cinnamon
5cm (2”) piece
Cloves

Cardamoms

Ginger
2.5 cm.(1”) piece (10gms)
Garlic
a few flakes
Onions
115gms
Red chillies
3 (remove seeds)
Salt
to taste 
Tomatoes

Clean and joint chicken into large pieces. Grind spices with salt. Rub over the chicken pieces. Blanch tomatoes and chop. Heat fat, saute chicken. Add any spice mixture left over in the pan. Cover tightly and cook till all liquid is evaporated. Add blanched, chopped tomatoes, cook till chicken is tender and gravy thick.
