Chicken caldeen

Ingredients

For 6 to 8
Chicken (tender)
1 (about 650gms)
Ginger
2.5cm ( ½ “) piece
Garlic
3 flakes
Onion
1
Coriander
2 tbsp
Red chillies
2 or to taste
Cumin
1 pinch
Turmeric
½ tsp
Cinnamon
1 small piece
Cloves
3
Peppercorns
5
Coconut
1
Vinegar
1 to 2 tbsp
Salt
to taste 
Oil

Grind to a fine paste the coriander, red chillies, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves and peppercorns. Slice onion, garlic and ginger. Grate coconut and prepare three extractions. Clean, wash and joint chicken. Heat the oil. Add sliced ingredients. Saute. Add ground paste and fry well. Add chicken and fry for a few minutes longer. Add second and third extractions of coconut milk and simmer till chicken is tender. When chicken is done, add salt, vinegar and first extraction of coconut milk and remove from fire
