Ladies fingers (slit in half vertically)

Bengal gram flour

Ginger (chop fine)

1.25cm ( ½ “) piece

Green chillies

Make a paste of the gram flour with a spoonful of
buttermilk. Add remaining buttermilk, turmeric, ginger, green chillies,
coriander leaves and salt. Heat gently till the mixture thickens. Meanwhile,
cut ladies fingers into 2.5 cm (1”) pieces. Season. Fry in hot fat. Add to
buttermilk mixture and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
