Cucumber Raita














Ø  500 gms plain yogurt (2 cup)
Ø  ¾ cup thickly grated unpeeled cucumber
Ø  ½ tsp peppercorns-coarsely ground
Ø  1 tsp powdered sugar
Ø  Salt to taste
Ø  Some thin slice of cucumber for garnishing

Beat yogurt well till smooth. Grate thick shreds of a small unpeeled cucumber.

Add all the ingredients to the yoghurt. Mix well and transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with slices of cucumber. Keep in the fridge till serving time.
